MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To ensure full compliance with EHS standards and requirements, Federal and Local laws and regulations including the applicable international EHS best practices
Drive the implementation of occupational Safety and Health Management Systems and Environmental sustainability programs as required
REQUIRED EDUCATION
A relevant degree in Science or Engineering or compliance with vocational Environment, Health and Safety training courses equivalent to the number of hours completed as required and attested by the relevant authorities (MOHESR)
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
At least 5 years’ experience in an environmental, health and safety field
Registered with OSHAD’s Qudorat program as an EHS practitioner (Minimum Grade B)
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
Effective administration and planning of OSHE/Facility management and safety (FMS) activities within the assigned business unit(s)
Monitor and manage OSHE/FMS compliance and performance
Drive communication and consultation initiatives aimed at ensuring follow through and clarity of required actions as per OSHAD and JCIA standards
Management of effective reporting and records maintenance
Effective coordination and internal collaboration regarding OSHE/FMS activities
Coordinate awareness and development initiatives
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
Effectively implementation of Risk Management for all activities, projects and facility as per regulatory requirements
