Job Description For Edelman Jobs

The Role:
The Human Resource Executive provides professional HR administrative support to the department and operational support to the team. To support and improve overall operating efficiency, the individual works under general guidance, and is able to prioritize, communicate and organize workloads and also takes responsibility for special projects as needed. The individual is resourceful, a good problem solver and organized, ensuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner.
Duties & Responsibilities
General HR
  • Work with HR team to address turnover and understand reasons for leaving
  • Continuously review HR systems and processes, ensuring they remain fit for purpose and are relevant/up to date.
  • Keeping abreast with UAE and KSA Labour Law
  • Ensure that the HR Coordinator timely processes visas, HRIS entries, visa renewals etc. in a timely manner.
  • Enhance and manage the onboarding process, probationary reviews, performance management, training and employee relations.
  • Champion wellbeing at workplace by identifying different providers and arranging different events to create awareness
  • Draft employee contracts in English & Arabic for permanent staff, freelance Agreements for temporary staff, and process salary/ employment letters, probationary completion letters and promotion letters.
  • Produce timely & accurate management information on starters, leavers, employees completing probation and visas/ labour cards that are due for renewal in UAE and Saudi Arabia.
  • Manage the exit process from calculating settlements, conducting exit interviews.
  • Manage monthly payroll and give timely inputs to the payroll team for Middle East.
Recruitment
Responsible for the full life cycle of the recruiting process and using the internal ATS to track recruitment end to end;
  • Responsible for meeting hiring goals by filling open positions with talented and qualified candidates
  • Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline
  • Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing phone screenings
  • Facilitating offers and employment negotiations, all while ensuring candidates have a pleasant experience
  • Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices
  • Manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process
  • Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations
  • Integrate values into recruitment process and strategy
Learning & Development
  • Support with the roll-out of the EMEA L&D strategy, ensuring this is localized and relevant to the Middle East
  • Take the lead on ELI – ensure the business remains compliant with mandatory requirements, conducting regular audits and putting a plan in place to address
  • Work with key stakeholders to develop a TNA to identify skills gaps across the business in order to develop a meaningful calendar of training events
  • Continuously seek new ways to train and develop employees – cultivating a high performing culture


Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
      • Arabic language proficiency is a must
      • 2 years of recruiting experience preferred
      • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
      • Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust
      • Excellent organizational and time management skills
      • Comfortable making decisions independently
      • Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems
      • Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office
      • Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
      • Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations
